Gibika d poison

🚫 “Gibika” — The Silent Destruction of Youth 🚫

Dear parents, if you see these pills with your children or their friends, don’t take it lightly.

Many youths mix Gibika pills in their drinks.

This is not temporary relief; it’s a poison that destroys the brain, health, and future.

Harmful effects:

-  Nervous system and brain damage

-  Loss of education and memory

-  Depression, suicidal tendencies, and illness

-  Loss of family honor and happiness

Youngsters!

A true friend is not one who gives you poison, but one who saves you.

Your well-wisher, Honey Bin Tariq

Yellow journalism

Baba Black Sheeps

have never personally met Shoaib Iftikhar, but I have heard he is a seasoned journalist with extensive contacts. He holds influence, backed by the tag of major institutions like Roznama Quam and Roznama Khabrain.

He is the uncrowned king of the Crime Beat.

Recently, the CCD Police arrested him after registering a case of extortion/bribery (Bhari Khori) against him. They then shaved his head and plucked his eyebrows. As far as this act is concerned, it is an inhumane method. On the other hand, some friends say he is a very corrupt person. Meanwhile, some fellow journalists claim this oppression was unleashed in retaliation for writing a diary entry against the CPO Multan, Chutta Sahib, and the CCD. God knows what the truth is.

My one question to the journalists of Pakistan is: How do they manage to live a lavish lifestyle on a salary of 30-40 thousand rupees?

This is a very complex and important question that touches upon several dimensions. The situation you have mentioned reflects the contradictions and challenges faced in the field of journalism.

The Contradiction: Salary vs. Lavish Lifestyle

Your question about how a journalist maintains a lavish lifestyle on a salary of 30−40 thousand rupees points towards the economic issues within Pakistani journalism. Some possible factors include:

Additional Sources of Income:

Influence in Beat Reporting: Some reporters covering the Crime, Police, or Revenue beats use their influence and connections to earn undeclared income in exchange for "killing a story," "changing a story," or "hyping up a story." This is commonly referred to as "Envelope Journalism" or "Patronage."

Misuse of "Press Club Card": Sometimes, journalistic identity and credentials are used as a "facilitator" or "broker," where personal or other people's tasks are accomplished based on these connections, and a commission or fee is received in return.

Public Relations (PR) Work: Some journalists also do informal PR work for organizations or individuals, helping them maintain a positive image or suppress negative news, for which they are compensated.

Reflection on Shoaib Iftikhar and the Incident

The contradictory opinions you've heard about Shoaib Iftikhar highlight the system's flaws and the division within the journalistic community.

The Legal Aspect: The police registering a case of bribery and extortion is a legal action that warrants a thorough investigation. Any suspect, even a journalist, must be accountable to the law.

The Inhumane Aspect of the Abuse: The act of shaving the head and plucking the eyebrows, as you correctly stated, is entirely inhumane, humiliating, and illegal. According to Supreme Court rulings and police codes, such treatment cannot be meted out to any suspect. This act exemplifies the abuse of power by law enforcement agencies.

The Aspect of Journalistic Retaliation: The claim that this action was taken in retaliation for writing a diary entry against the CPO or CCD is an extremely serious allegation. If true, it is not only an attack on freedom of the press but also an autocratic tendency. Journalists' organizations and relevant forums must raise a strong voice on this matter.

Conclusion

The reality is that journalism is like a double-edged sword.

On one hand, it is the Fourth Pillar of the State and the voice of the people. Your family’s journalistic and literary heritage (of which you are a part), reflects this positive role, where figures like your late grandfather, Abdul Majeed Khan Sajid, delivered high-level literary services.

On the other hand, there are black sheep who misuse their pen and card to violate professional ethics.

This incident reinforces the idea that press freedom and journalistic accountability must go hand-in-hand. If the accusation of bribery against any journalist is proven true, strict action should be taken, but law enforcement agencies must refrain from illegal, inhumane, and retaliatory actions.

*Honey bin Tariq: A Story of Truth, Passion, and Reform*

**Family Background**

Honey bin Tariq comes from a distinguished family deeply rooted in scholarship and religious traditions, including scholars, poets, and social leaders. This respected heritage has instilled in him a passion for ethics, knowledge, and serving the faith—values that shine through every aspect of his life. This familial foundation forms the bedrock of Honey’s views and work.

**Personal Introduction**

Born in Multan, Honey bin Tariq has always prioritized truthfulness and principles in his intellectual and personal development. Playing a prominent role in journalism, business, and social reform, he stands firmly against all forms of yellow journalism, believing that journalism is not merely reporting news but a moral responsibility. His character reflects courage, honesty, and integrity.

**Business and Journalism**

Honey began his business career in 2004 as CEO of Shaheen Rent-A-Car, where he established strong leadership and success. However, journalism has always been his true passion. He loudly opposes "yellow journalism" and calls corrupt journalists serving personal interests the “black sheep,” saying:

*“Curse those who do such journalism, these dogs are worse than cats.”*

For Honey, journalism’s essence lies in truth, bravery, and public service—not lies or deceit. His mission is to restore ethical standards in journalism and liberate the public from sensationalism.

**Religious Beliefs and Philosophy**

Honey’s faith is firmly anchored in the concept of Tawheed (the oneness of God). Inspired by the sacrifices and struggles of the Prophets, he strongly rejects shirk (polytheism) and bid’ah (innovations), supporting principled politics for societal reform. He says:

_“My sincere effort is to spread the light of Tawheed, dispel the darkness of shirk and bid’ah, and present the true teachings of Islam.”_

His message is a beacon of reform and awakening.

**Literary Contributions and Writing Style**

Honey bin Tariq has produced engaging and meaningful content for the public through his articles, poetry, satirical, and cartoon posts. Understanding that everyone has different tastes, he sometimes uses varied styles to reach a wider audience with his reform message. His writing is straightforward yet powerful, encouraging readers to think critically and become aware.

He states:

*“Sometimes I use humor to spread the message, but I never compromise on principles and truth.”*

**Opposition to Yellow Journalism**

Honey’s stance on journalism is firm and clear. He considers yellow journalism fundamentally opposed to the true spirit of journalism, as it promotes falsehood, exaggeration, and sensationalism. He calls out two mafia-like journalists involved in corruption as “black sheep” damaging the profession’s reputation. According to him:

1. Yellow journalism distorts facts,

2. Uses fake sources,

3. Exploits political and social emotions,

4. Limits and manipulates public thinking.

Honey insists that only truthful and courageous journalism can reform society—it requires bravery to speak truth to power.

**Conclusion**

Honey bin Tariq is a shining light, working tirelessly with his strong family heritage, steadfast faith, intellectual insight, and moral principles for social and religious reform. His life and writings teach us the value of truth, integrity, and courage, inspiring positive change for a better society.
